We offer at least three workshops a year, featuring nationally recognized artists working in all media.
AZDCA also sponsors workshops in conjunction with other organizations and fine art centers.
While each workshop features techniques relative to a specific media, all workshops stress design and personal exploration.

Through out the year we hold several events for both the public and members only.
These are opportunities for:

-
Members to advance their professional and artist interests
-
Exploring the membership socially
-
Developing a more detailed understanding of the organization
-
The viewing public to familiarize themselves with our memberships talents
Below is a brief description of these events.

-
Focus Group Events: Special interest groups provide contact with members who work in and have interests in mediums of mutual interest. These groups enable artists to exchange ideas and information about materials and techniques, and to create ideas.
-
Gallery and Museum visits: We organize visits to museums with exhibits of interest to members. These visits are supported with topical lectures by the museum staff and supporting experts in the field. Our gallery visits feature artist and mediums of interest to the membership. They are supported with lectures by the gallery owner or featured artists.
-
Exhibitions: We sponsor members only exhibitions for both juried and non-juried members. All works are juried by a panel of outside art professionals.
Recent exhibits include:
Shemer Arts Center, Phoenix
Arizona State University
Tohono Chul Park, Tucson
